I am a qualified, experienced counsellor and an Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I hold a Certificate in Counselling (Birkbeck University) and an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling (Greenwich University).
I am an integrative counsellor. This means that I use a variety of counselling approaches tailored to your needs and situation. I work with adults and have also offered play therapy for children.
As well as practising privately, I also work for the counselling charity Care to Listen in Croydon and offer IAPT counselling for adults through the NHS. I also work for the charity Into the Light.
I have previously worked in a number of social and community work roles within the voluntary sector over the last twenty years, most recently supporting new mums.
I am an Accredited Member of BACP (the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) which is the leading body for counselling and psychotherapy in the UK.
BACP accreditation recognises the achievement of high standards of knowledge, experience and development in counselling and psychotherapy.
My work is in line with BACP’s strict code of ethics and I have regular professional supervision as part of my on-going professional development.
